Workplace Wellness
In America, 56 million adults experience behavioral health and addiction disorders in a given year – 3 times as many as those with diabetes and 4 times as many as those with other forms of cancer. Yet, just one in three receives treatment.
With input from over 500 senior professionals across business, education, psychology, and spirituality, our Annual Human Sustainability Study identified three key areas that define workplace human sustainability, or how much company employees feel "in balance": income, health, and happiness.
HLN Marketing takes an innovative approach to wellness that improves corporate productivity and human sustainability by removing associated stigmas and making needed help easily available and dignified. The approach begins by positioning holistic wellness services (massage, yoga, mindfulness, etc.) as workplace wellness initiatives, included in the existing employee insurance program. Once engaged, employees transition to discovery and the willingness to address needs, without stigma.
Corporate
In 200, the total economic burden of depression was $83 billion, with 62% ($52 billion) of this due to lost workplace productivity. In total, mental health disorders annually cost the global economy $1 trillion.
Education
College/University staff and students endure overwhelming stress as a result of economic, physical and spiritual challenges. Fear, ignorance, shame, and embarrassment must be addressed to enable maximum productivity.
individuals
From celebrities and business leaders to seniors and children, behavioral health challenges do not discriminate. With increased support, we can overcome the stigma through increased awareness and balanced traditional/holistic modalities.
